Alerts are broken down into two categories:
Crime which consists of the following alerts:
- Shooter: This is to report an active shooter
- Assault: This is to report a physical attack on a person or persons
- Robbery: This is to report a forced robbery (usually armed)
- Theft: This is to report a theft such as shoplifting, snatch and grab or purse snatching
- Intruder: This is to report someone who is in an area they should't be.
Safety which consists of the following alerts:
- Medical: This is to report a medical condition such as a heart attack or injury requiring medical care
- Mess & Spill: This is to report a slip and fall condition such as a spill on a tile floor
- Hazard: This is to report a hazard such as broken glass, an unattended ladder or something broken and dangerous
- Fire/Smoke: This is to report fire or smoke
Channels are a patent pending technology that we use to segregate alerts and channel them to the appropriate people. This avoids user fatigue from receiving unnecessary alerts.
